Nourishment and Respite

Postpartum is a time of deep transition, connection and adjustment. We are privileged to provide broad care during the day, to fill your cup.

We are ready to meet you wherever you are during this time and aim to make your stay as easy as possible.

Nourishment includes:

All meals and drinks (snacks, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea)* can accommodate DF/SF diets

Welcome Pack

Educational Resources and End of Day Pack

After attending Breastfeeding Day Stay you will own the power of sharpened practical skills, an expanded tool kit, and a new confidence and clarity to take forward.

Once you return home, Amanda will touch base with you the next day to help support the transition, answer any questions you might have and ensure you are connected and supported beyond the service.

Our priority is to ensure our care doesn’t fall away when you leave our space but that you are held and linked in with kind carers (Juno or otherwise) as needed and are happy to facilitate this.

Fees

Total Cost $1650

Total Out-of-Pocket cost if Extended Medicare Safety Net met: $252

Total Out-of-pocket standard Medicare rebate: $1138.20

*increased rebates available for multiple birth families, with lower out of pocket costs

Extended Medicare Safety Net (EMSN) reduces out-of-pocket cost for our Day Stay dramatically.

How it works: If you’ve spent a certain amount out-of-pocket in a calendar year on services that attract a Medicare rebate, you become eligible for a higher rebate from Medicare. This includes all family members on the same Medicare card. The higher rebate means you get back up to 80% of the total fee.

If you have received fertility support/ IVF or paid for a private Obstetrician in this calendar year, you will likely be eligible.
